Took me a few minutes of thinking before I finally had a good idea of it.

I am very impressed with your building jig. Very creative for a model this large

Wood glue, carpenter style, with #4 x 1/2 screws. They look like #10 in the pics, but they are not.

Epoxy for adhesive? Maybe some flathead #10's wood screws countersunk with epoxy in the hole so you can leave 'em in and cover right over. Looks sweet, BIG, but sweet.

Got it! Was much easier than I anticipated.......some hot water and away we go!

Kerfing might work, but with only a 3 lam plywood, you'd probably have to dampen the kerfed side also as the graining in a hem or doug fir veneer is pretty rigid at the color variations and a stepped effect might occur at the glue points. I would have cut the ply cross grain and it probably wouldve bent much easier, No kerfing just moisten the backside, apply CA and clamp.

You might try kerfing the inner portion, cutting a series of vertical slots on the back side, about 3/4 of the way through. Enough slots will allow the wood to flex so you can manipulate it into position.

You know, most guys pin their wood to the building board. I see you are using screws! The wingspan scales out to about 1/6 scale, so you can use a GI Joe for the pilot.

See the bottom wing former........gotta figure a way to bend/twist the plywood without breaking it so I can fasten it down to b3,4,&5. Easy enough to do with a 3/32 piece of balsa, but a bit tricky with 1/4" plywood. Maybe get the steam kettle out and hold it under where I need to flex.

Short............? I mean "shot" of course using my cell phone camera.

Starting the fuelage, waiting for the wing to dry enough to sand it.
Xanadu, Image # 1080409 Feb 09 15:43

Guess who....? My arm is not long enough to get a fullsize short of myself with my cell phone.

Maybe I should just bolt it onto my trucklid, and have a fancy schmancy race type car!
