I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

I just dropped a line to the museum in New Zealand asking if they have or will take photos of the engine and exhaust system of their D IV reproduction. "Lettuce" see what precipitates!

Only 80 or so were built and the only reproduction still air worthy is in New Zealand. Thanks for the effort, I shall invent something!

Oops the Kiwi one is a D IV ! Is there a lot of difference ?

Hi John. The D III lives at www.omaka.org.nz/exhibits.htm#Halberstadt. Rather frustratingly I've been through my files and don't have any good detail shots of this aircraft. Half the problem is that it faces away from where the photos are taken and it's hard to get a good shot. I have contacted a friend who has squillions of aircraft photos to see if he has any good closeups to offer. No doubt I'll be back to the museum at some point, it's about 3 hours fast clip on the bike for a round trip, but I'm not quite sure when this will be. I'll keep you posted. Cheers, Nigel

Staggeringly beautiful John.

Thank you for the kind words. I get the greatest hoot out of the details and finishing.....framing I can live without!

Yes it is. I have no desire to fly. The motor is not a flight motor. It only spins the prop so kids get a thrill. Old kids and young kids I might add.

Superb detailing! With its electric motor, I hope it is for static display only.

Thanks very much. My aer"O"-plane builds are evolving. In Ludmilla there were a few micro models. The cowl, engine, Lewis gun, Vickers gun, Foster mount, and Shock absorbing LG. I also tried some new building and painting techniques. No paper appliqués or decals gave their lives in the building of this model! Onward and upward to Katrina!!!!

Super model. It just amazes how you are able to include so many "izzyies, gizzyies and gadgets". Man. it looks real.
