I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

TJH... Thanks for the input. I like the Helmut...Fitting for a pilot! Stanislaus Schnitzel sort of rolls off the tongue. What more fitting initials "SS"!!!

A few more; Helmut, Franz, Jakob?

JG...Thanks for the suggestion but I have never met someone named Ach. Schnitzel has been chosen as the surname.....Stanislaus and Gerhard competing for the first.

The feathers move but the linkages depicted here are for show...representations of the real control cables.

Another unique design feature of the Halbe. The aileron control quadrant and the bottom of the joystick, with elevator cables, extends thru the floor of the cockpit and fuselage bottom.

The still to be named pilot of Katrina. Suggestions for Germanic first names will be graciously accepted!

Great innovation that I read in a magazine and finally tried. Works great just as long as the "Wuffy" does not go looking for her pinking shears. You may find this hard to comprehend, but she does not have the same love of model aero planes that we all do!!!

I was wondering about that...I'd say the pinking shears was a great innovation.

Weathered up a tad. The air foil fabrication is waiting in the wings!

Various signal and illumination flares. Please note the pinking shear stitching. With pin holes and Sharpie highlights, I believe is a great technique to remember.

Feathers are completed and "O" is a happy camper!

The tail was one of the reasons that I wanted to try to build a Halberstadt.
