I am doing the B-25 and spend at least an hour a day looking at DD's build. Give me an address and I'll send a check.

Impressive, and you owe me 5 cents.:-)

Checking for fit. I took a page out of Mr. Duckett's book on how to use tape to finish off a canopy. Thanks DD, it worked very well.

For Brian and everyone else: http://www.alumilite.com
julinick, Comment for image # 2999025 Oct 13 18:20
Brian, check out Alumilite products, they are pretty cheap. This is the first time I've made molds and tried casting. I purchased the mold straight from them, but I purchased the casting resin from Michaels with 50% off coupon that came out to$8.00 CND. So far on the casting resin, I've made 4 engine cowlings, 4 spinners and 9 prop blades with 3 more to go, and still have half a bottle on both "A" and "B" resins. Each bottle contains 8 fluid ounces. If I can do it so can anyone else.

thanks creosotewind for your response. do they sell the mold kits over the internet like at tower?
Creosotewind, Comment for image # 2999025 Oct 13 16:04
Brian, it is not too hard. Several hobby stores sell kits with the mold making material and the resin. It takes some trial and error (lots of error on my part) to get the mixes right, but once you figure it out, it is a lot of fun. And there is great satisfaction in seeing multiple copies. A big time saver, too.
