Some of the parts and details that are still to be added. The little black dot just below the exhaust pipes is the gunsight. |

Papering done on the Ascender, it's time for some trial fitting. |

Great looking, Jerry. Pretty radical design, especially since it came from Curtis. Unfortunately, this plane looked better than it flew. But it did live up to its nickname: Assender! |

Can't do it in 1/48. I will make it in 1/32. I need space for my fingers and to see. |

Hello, My email is frwyflyer@gmail.com. As I remember there kind of was a standard size.. 1/48?? I will try to be very faithful to the 1940's modeling techniques. I think it will be fun to try and make something from those plans. THANKS!! |

Frwflyer - If you e-mail me your address I will mail you copy of the plans. However you will have to have it increased to the size you want. jlc190@verizon.net |

What is the best way to get a copy of those plans? |

I have no preference of scale. I'm going to do it in 1/24th scale, because it is what I usually build single engine aircraft in and it what I have a selection of decals in. |

I'll take the challenge. They look very interesting. What scale do you suggest? |
