I was 8 years old when these plans were printed for modelers to use. Even today with 60 years of experience in building models I wouldn't even consider it. Anyone out there ready for a challenge. |

I found this beautiful color rendering on Fideler's Green. Obviously I did not choose the Ascender for its colorfulnes, the unusual shape and the fact that it was built and flew intrigues me and should be a fun build. |

Fortunately I found some stick and paper plans by Earl Stahl that I have had resized to 1/24th scale. |

While researching the Ascender I found these plans from Model Airplane News, August, 1948. These plans and a block of balsa were supposed to get you a scale model of the Ascender. |
