I don't think this plane was ever meant to be a fighter, but more for propaganda: Look how fast our planes can fly. They never let on that it wasn't a fighter, however. |

Great museum. I think it is their satellite museum up on the way to the Grand Canyon, next to Flintstone's Village. Also worth the trip. |

The wing per plans is very slim and flat bottomed so I'm using the airfoil from the Typhoon, with some slight adjustments. |

The entire frame is built with 1/16" stringers and fortunately the wood is very sturdy. I used 1/8" stock for the center of the "boxes" for strength and ease of construction. |

It's somewhat of a mystery but they needed the engine for the 109 among other things. |
