I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Thanks to everyone for their comments and suggestions! I'll take them into account on the next model. Here's I fixed the problems; I increased the width of the top member too.

You can glue a sheet of paper to a picture frame and pre-shrink using water, and then cover the plane. Reduces shrinkage and thus no bending and twisting.

Your English is fine!

Very correct advice Mr. Dale and Mr. David also, I had a similar experience. Excuse my English is not good.

I wet the applied tissue for shrinking. When dry, tissue is given one coat of dope (does not take much to seal Esaki tissue, therefore any more shrinking is minimized). Adding more butyrate dope increases shrinking and deflection problems. A light rubbing with Scotch Brite and then it's ready for painting.

Before papering, I give the framework 2 or 3 coats of butyrate dope, with light sanding after first coat. I use Esaki white tissue (Japanese tissue),apply it dry, and adhere it to the framework with a small brush dipped in acetone.

Thanks David for the unexpected nice comment. You have offered the best suggestions. My early builds experienced the same problem as Jasta has. Since then I test all my stringers for strength, discard the weak ones, and select better ones from the hobby store.
David Duckett, Comment for image # 3347915 Mar 15 17:40
The fix is probably going to require removal of the silkspan. To prevent rebuilding the frame, the stringers that are bowed require some stiffening. The easiest way is to simply glue and additional stringer on the sides of the original. The original stringers will probably come back to reasonable shape when the silkspan is removed. An additional stringer might be necessary for only one side. For a future build...weak stringers are a problem with nearly all kits I know of. My resolution was to use 3/32" stringers instead. An option would be to use stringers made of basswood where 1/16" retains its shape better. I normally do a complete infill but on open areas such as this the additional wood on the sides make it much stronger and will result in an overall smoother appearance while still retaining the look. Dale builds beautiful models basically from the box, as does Scigs30, and they, along with others who cover this way can add other insights, I'm sure. I'll see if I can find photos somewhere on here if you wish. Shame really, cause your work looks so nice.:-)

David, your comments would be welcomed! I'd rather prevent the problem rather than spend a day (or two) fixing them. I'll post photos on my 'fix' later this week. Thanks,

Looks like a great covering job.
David Duckett, Comment for image # 3347915 Mar 15 14:56
I can offer hints on how to prevent this but that wasn't the question.
jgood, Comment for image # 3347915 Mar 15 14:36
Yes, looks like you have a little too much shrinkage going on. Maybe use a less powerful shrinking dope? Looks very nice and clean, aside from the anaconda effect!

Thanks for the comments, I'm really enjoying myself!! There are some great modellers on here, it's a real pleasure seeing their work.
David Duckett, Comment for image # 3347915 Mar 15 14:15
It's caused by the inherent flexibility of the 1/16" stringers. It looks as if you wet covered and if so as the silkspan dries it shrinks. If you used dope, it shrinks, as well. That's what caused it.
meku, Comment for image # 3347915 Mar 15 14:11
I suggest you remove the paper and make a new, less stretch cover.

Severe bending!! These were straight when I covered them!
