Or use macro focus if the camera supports this function

Rather than trying to get so close that the picture is out of focus, use the highest resolution of your camera then crop down to just the engines. If you're not already doing so that is.

These might look really great. Because of my radial fetish, could you take the picture again as this one is greatly out of focus.

Two radials cast in resin & painted for the Ozark DC 3. Complete with little Pratt & whitney badges. This DC3 is going to have Pratts on it , instead of Wrights.

Correct, the picture is a black dot!

Thanks guys. John M. I checked on the radials coming from the U.K. Fellow over there lost my order, so I canceled it. I found out that Easy Built has a vac-formed engine that will work. I have since received that engine & will use it to castTwo engines for the DC 3. Should look ok and is a whole lot( 66 bucks) cheaper.

Hey, if it was that easy, there would be 2 million people posting on this site. Old A&P, improvisation, thinking, and conquering the dilemna; that's why we're here. Kudos to solving a problem with the build. This will look great when done.

This is looking great!

If I build this kit again, I`ll make cock-pit top & radome from a balsa block. Kit supplied vac-formed parts don`t fit that well. It would be easier & look better with balsa. All in all a good kit.

She is looking super...did the engines arrive? Please post pics of the radials.

I know what you mean, I grew up in Southern Illinois, about 80 miles from you, and I got out of there as soon as I could. It gets pretty hot here, this is the high desert, but the winters are about 2 days long, I can handle that. I live in Del Rio, Texas, right on the Mexican border and about 5 miles from the "World's premium bass lake", Lake Amistad; as what was written in Bassmaster Magazine, after they had their first bass tournament here 4 years ago, It's been a 'boom town' every since.
