Lowe's in Howell, NJ. Just remember to invert can to clear tip. Spray paint can last a real long time. If the spirit moves me, tomorrow may take my 8 year old to the model airfield. Weather forecast is great for gas and electrics. Almost have the hook set in him.

The time was not wasted if you learned something. I learned that air fresheners can make spinners but not a spinner that mathces the scale of the build.

As a matter of fact I saw that paint today when I purchased my primer....wondered how it would work? Guess I know now....like a mirror!!! Right wing tip not to shabby also!

This was only the rough shape. The final mold fit perfect. I was all set to show a great canopy, but I think the styrene was too thick as all was going great until the last press for the squared off front glass. The plastic kept folding. Two hours wasted watching the paint dry.

Thanks John, It's Rust-O-Leum Metallic Finish with a chrome top. It's better than I thought. I figured it was only fitting with Poppy and DD advising us how to achieve a great finish, that a mirror finish is what this small bird warranted. Check out the right tail tip.

The can of peas for the mig is the next challange....this one looks great compared to what I have so far, which are only ideas!

Great paint, looks like the Al that I used to cover the front of the Mig. What brand? Looks like you lead a tough life!

Excuse me gents, new to this... rudder surface masked.

Two part canopy pressed correctly from Guillow's, so I thought and carve a mold to press into styrene. After four attempts, I may call Guillo'w for a replacement. NFG!!!

Poolside with temps in the 80's. Perfect temp for first coat of chrome paint. Tail surface wing walk, and side fuselage masked. Steel wool and 2nd coat tomorrow.

Gents I concur with the micro fill. I painted some on the basswoods of the Mig today. Fine steel wool. So smooth I hope the primer sticks!

NOT THIS PHOTO!!!!But after four applications, like Ivory soap, 99.9% pure. Found a nice photo on a site from DD, Airliners.net. Off to the finish shop tomorrow. One thing though, the smooother you get it, you still want more. Scheduling an appointment with MFA (Micro-Fill Anonymous) for Monday. Just say NO, Moostang. New photos tomorrow.

Very nice indeed! Yes, it does take some time but I think you will be well pleased with the results. Super job, keep it coming.

No John, was waiting for Micro-Fill to be delivered so I thought I'd attempt to skin a Trojan. Ooops. Currently masking and painting the fuselage on the Lib.
