DD, you might want to have your hearing checked. |

Another masterpiece!! You have done wonders with the original kit design. I always enjoy your paintings but will be dissapointed not to see another of your models under way for a while. |

This will be the last model for awhile. Canvas calls. |

Finished. I did NOT put the pitot tube, aileron balances, or the plastic gun exhaust ports on the bottom of the wing. Likewise I will not add the antenna wire, thread, on top but it's finished. |

David's and Poppy's (and several others) models were always top notch, but it is gratifying to see that each build seems to reach another level of quality. We all kind of push each other, and ourselves, to learn from one another and make the next model even better. Great job DD. Great job everyone. |

A few more lines, the prop, and the decal "Holzauge" (Wooden Eye) added. |

So what you are saying is I should put down the Jamesons before I start typing?
You are correct, HORIZONTAL planes. |
David Duckett, Comment for image # 32066 | 06 Aug 14 18:17 |
There are two vertical components to the tail; the fin and the rudder. There are no braces for the fin on any 109 that I know of. There are, however, two braces for the HORIZONTAL STABILIZERS, and they will be added before I caption a photo as "finished". |

Price reduced to $3,750,000. Heck, I'll also buy the Spitfire and have a set. |
