Thanks Bill for the heads up I will place a bid on this one if I win this I will build this a little different then straight out of the box. thinking about makeing it a Reno race job all Yellow and black I found some reference m,aterial on this, No tissue on this one all veneered in balsa and cardstock. thanks Bill Boats

BrianKilby Thank you for your reply I live in Moraine Ohio it is located about 12 miles south from Dayton. One thing about dayton i love the most is the airforce base Museume. they even have a research department by appointment only. If you wish to find any model reseaerch info they have it and the best of all the real thing you can walk up and take pictures whata better way to take walk around pix for your models. Boats

She,s done, not so much of a pretty day today I only wished today was like yesterday nice sunny but out here in Ohio you cant have everything. Here are the finished pictures of my P39

Ok fellas on the down hill slide, a couple more details and she is done ready to hang up. all is left is wing walks,touch up paint work prop tips perhaps a little weathering and she is good to go the main landing gear is epoxied to the wheels wells that are excepted via tubeing on the wing wheel well to the oleo strut. i again 86 the plastic landing gear struts that came with the kit made my own useing paper tubeing.

Briankilby thank you the next will be the SBD, On the next build i am not going to use tissue it be filled between the stringer and former with sheet balsa once sanded down i will fill and prime and cover with aluminim metal tape and paint I got to get her done i should have hewr done tonight. tommorow i will take the finished pictures Thank you very much for your reply.
