P-47: First coat of spackling has been smoothed off. Need to cut the holes for vents and wings. THis will be a flier (I hope). THe cowling is held on with magnets as is the access hatch.

1/16" wood was tapered in the back and the front glued to the styrene, a bit of filler, and sanded smooth.

35mm 9 cylinder radial from Volare. It's sturdier than a lot of the plastic I've seen.
