I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Here's the finished product. To remove the tape and masking fluid, just roll it off with your finger tips. Beats the heck out of applying and trimming little pieces of Scotch Tape to each panel.

I don't know how everyone else does masking on their canopies, but I would like to share my method: I use "ChartPak" tape to outline the clear areas. This tape (or it's Chinese equivelent) is available at Hobby Lobby. It is a "crepe" tape that will allow it to bend around corners. I use 1/16" wide stuff. Burnish the tape down with finger pressure and trim. THe rest of the area is filled in with masking fluid, (again it's available at H/L as "Fine Line masking Pen". Apply a thin film, thicker is not better and watch for air bubbles. The pictue shows my canopy just after I applied the masking fluid.

After consuming many bottles of screw-top vine with the neighbors, discussing the intrinsic holistic values of "Fifty Shades of Gray" we got down to the serious business fo mocking up my new J2F Duck project. I need to thank all of my neighbors for posing. Now I just need to lift the loft lines and scale it down to 1/16 scale.
