SteveM | Molt Models Tyro | Build | 08-May-08 22:47 | | Views : 833 | The Tyro is repaired once again and tips the scales at 17.2 ounces with the A123 cells (3S1P 1100 mAh). The rather large piece of wood on the floor is a fuselage side from the Aero-Star .40 that DD so kindly sent me. Next flight is tomorrow morning. |
SteveM | Molt Models Tyro | Build | 05-May-08 23:57 | | Views : 804 | I added some tabs at the rear of the hatch so those magnets are probably not needed. The velco patch helps keep the battery from sliding left and right, there really is no room for the battery to move up or to the front or rear so this might be enough. |

SteveM | Molt Models Tyro | Build | 05-May-08 23:52 | | Views : 762 | The new battery hatch is held on all four corners with magnets and a 2-56 nylon screw in the front helps hold the hatch and and provides a handle. |
SteveM | Molt Models Tyro | Build | 05-May-08 23:50 | | Views : 862 | The fuse is back together but I may need to spring for a replacement fuse if I keep running it into the ground. The servo tray was moved aft to make room for the battery, luckily I had left the nose wheel cable a little long. |
