I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

No maze yet, the best is yet to come!

Good grief, what a maze. Hopefully your eyeballs do not cross permanently

The lengthy task of rigging installation has begun. The effort today focused on the dorsal surface of the upper plane.

First he heavy bracing wires that extend from the wing pylons.

I have a copy of the RAF wiring diagram including wire location and gauge.

This shall be the first time that we will attempt to wire with three diameters. Placing different diameters in locations as listed on the wiring diagram.

rayl, while traveling on that road I saw your XF-92A and Don C's C46:-)

Yes sir I do tend to travel that road with my builds. I have never made a Parabellum gun before. I do not think it shall have skis because I like making spoke wheels!

Another trip down the road less travelled.

Gumby has been MIA since St. Pat day. I am on my own. He is getting ready to travel south because in the spring and summer he hits the migrant farm worker circuit for employment:-))

Thanks poppy, my eyes missed your kind words. This adventure is winding down but me thinks I have decided upon the next biplane challenge.

Gumby must have had one heck of a teacher. His skills are awesome. As to the snow - it's 57 here in the mountains. As my #2 daughter tells me occasionally - sucks to be you. I'm sure Gumby will keep you safe.

Time on our hands during "cold time" as my son used to call winter. But today is the Vernal Equinox and we are getting 5 inches of snow!!

Sooo Sweet. Do you think that some of us have to much time on our hands????

FAN-friggin-TASIC detail...AND it is functional!!!

We had intended to start the install of the flight wires and bracing rigging this day. However this was not the case. The design committee decided that it would be prudent to address the lift mechanism issue for the Lewis guns. The install of the mechanism would be hindered by the rigging wiring. As stated in the Windsock data booklet, “the lever used to actuate the lift mechanism could be found in a railroad track switch!” Here is what Gumby and I fabricated this day. We were able to utilize one of the pulleys that were made for this build. Lewis guns in the firing position.

Lewis guns lowered.

Machine gun lift mechanism completed.
