I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Ogre gets his wings this day. He sits and awaits polymerization and cross linking of epoxy molecules to work their magic. Again we were fortunate enough to hang the wings with only the aid of resilient aka elastic bands. A dab of the magic compound, places on each strut end should do the trick.

Ogres rests, note the the lack of rubber bands required to hold the upper air foil in position on the cabane struts. Epoxy at work!

We are celebrating St. Patrick’s day here today. I sketched this for my then girlfriend Elaine, back in 1974. We were married in June of that year. 41 years past. Where does the time go? So quickly when you are having fun!!! HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY from Louie the leprechaun to all of you!

Here's the link: www.flickr.com/photos/dwhitworth/sets. Then select albums. It will be worth it.

rayl, Thanks for the information but I know nothing about accessing flicker or how to do it. Also I think the BE2c and Ogre have little in common regarding rigging.

John O and anyone else who really appreciates good photography: Look up David Whitworth's photo's on Flickr. He has some outstanding photo's from the Duxford Museum. If he isn't the official photographer, he must have unfettered access to almost everything. In his 2015 (new) album he has some really good shots of a B.E.2c replica. Oh, what a rigging nightmare!!!!!!

Ted, currently I am trying to mezmorize up a suitable, moveable, mounting bracket for the Vickers guns. Also making an underwing fuel tank. Must ponder before plunging!

"O", YOUR PATIENCE AND RESULTS WITH THE SMALLEST DETAILS IS MEZMORIZING !!..... TED G.

My problem is that I always lose the notes!
John M Oshust, Comment for image # 3345311 Mar 15 22:16
This time I thought I thought the procedure out. However, I did not write the thought process down. Now I have learned to make notes as to what was done and what must still be done. The greatest building aid was the string I tied from the basement model "CAVE" to the house. It enables me to find my way to Ogre and back each day!

Those little "moments" certainly can make life interesting can't they?

Elevator horns, both upper and lower, port and starboard, required additional wire.

As did the rudder horns. Today we completed the rigging on the empennage.
