Oh yeah...I painted the ribs to hide the laser burns. |

Per plans...covered dry with kit silkspan using 50/50 mixture. Hopefully the misting will tighten it up. |

I use Testors wood cement and medium CA for all my builds. In this case, I'm using CA because it doesn't show and it's fast. It also makes a strong framework. |

David, I thought you prefered Lepages airplane glue. Might I ask why you use ca instead. Answer is probably obvious to most on here but us nubies need a little learning. This is beautiful work and hope you continue with the photos. |

Orville and Wilber would be very happy with the cratfsmanship. |

Does'nt take you long to start your next plane. A nice wing section there should be no need to add extra ribs on this one. |

David, I'm glad that you are starting the build of the Wright. I've looked forward to seeing this model built by a master like yourself. I'm anxious to see how this turns out. Good luck.

Phew! This one looks like a lot of work ... |

This is the easy part. I'm leaving it pinned to the board overnight to make sure all the medium CA cures. |

First step is to glue the 74 laser cut ribs in place. |

The leading edge is 1/8" x 3/16 and the spar is 3/32" x 3/16". |
