A few lines.....

I noticed at about 40 that my eyes were starting to go and I've been wearing "readers" for years, increasing the stength as the years increased. The left eye is weaker than the right, in addition to the pucker stuff.

You nver wore any glasses before, or are these just replacements? I had to start wearing readers about 3 years ago.....sucks to say the least. But still better than no eye sight at all.

I drew on a centerline LIGHTLY with a pencil and measured where things should be. Then I used one of the plastic bomb bay doors from the kit as a template to draw on the doors.Next I used a regular piece of paper, which has perfect 90* angles, with one edge taped on the centerline to establish where the line going around the fuselage is.I marked lightly with lencil about three guide marks and then used a piece of flexible plastic to draw on the line. Lines. With these lines as reference the ones remaining to be added will be easier to establish.

Has he ever gotten attached to your work? I had to shave a dog once. He didn't like that and I didn't either.

My helper holds the wing down while the CA sets up.....

The landing gear doors were cut from the bottom engine nacelle before it was assembled. To reattach I "hung" them with a short piece of masking tape taped to the backside of the door and that allows enough support so the door can then be braced a bit with a finger inside the nacelle while a small amount of CA is applied to the junction. As soon as it cures enough to hold by itself a short piece of styrene rod was laid on the junction. The CA is still wet enough to hold the rod in place but I gave it an overall application just to make sure. You can see how it blends in. I've used this method before and I would prefer to hide the rod but this time I couldn't.

Dave my wife just had this done piece of cake. You will be better than ever. The only problem is that you might be able to see thru dresses. I am having mine done in two weeks.

Well I can tell you from experience that the cataract surgery is not a big deal. The follow up regimen of eye drops is. If your cataract surgery replaces your lenses give thought to what distance the new lens can sharply focus.
