This is coming along really Great! I found out, this morning, that the CAF B-29 "Fifi" will be on tour here at the end of the month. I can't afford the $595 for a flight, but I will try to get pictures and videos.

Thank you, John. Brian, sometimes you have to "depend on the kindness of strangers" (Gone With the Wind). I know nothing about making decals which is why I asked Phil to see if he could get them made for me. He actually has already made the decals on a laser printer and I have them. John O has success making decals on an inkjet printer and made the decals for the Stearman in my hanger. Click on the link on the left of the photo labeled "How To'x" for prop making info.

The cast resin prop blades were sprayed with Model Masters gloss black enamel and still need to be cut to length. The painting of the canopy is nearly finished. The paper Night Prowler will be replaced with a decal of it. 85* yesterday!

With the strange weather that you've been experiencing, it appears to be a sign of better weather to come. :)

That a painting like this could be accomplished with the tools and paints available in their era is truly amazing. Not a wonder this commands such an enormous price today.
