I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

3rd time's a charm... A reference photo showed I needed to make the canopy wider.

I'd be happy to crank out a few canopies for you. I can even dip one in Future so you can see how you like the effect.

Poppy, I agree. But he's probably a lousy brain surgeon.

Aren't sunsets beautiful. And never, never, two alike. That's an awe inspiring view. And I agree with Poppy, you're also a master photographer. What was your career in?
poppy, Comment for image # 716016 Mar 08 07:33
An artist's view! Master photographer.

Master at carving also. Does your talent ever end?
David Duckett, Image # 716116 Mar 08 06:22

The kit canopy's too big, my 1st attempt is too small, 2nd one is much better. Off to Oregon for molding ;-)

I have a picture of me somewhere standing next to one of these in Russia. I will have to find it. I guarantee that your finish to the plane is better than the real thing!

You make this look so easy, but we all know better.
poppy, Comment for image # 711114 Mar 08 16:44
DD's got it down pat!

What are you doing for the canopy? That's one thing I don't think Cleveland ever supplied, was clear parts.
JohnG., Comment for image # 711114 Mar 08 13:54
Museum quality in the making. Have you given up on the heavyweight silkspan???
David Duckett, Comment for image # 707614 Mar 08 13:09
This is the first Cleveland kit I've built since I was about 16. It was a Lockheed P 80, yes P 80, and it was a gorgeous thing which probably taught me just about everything about building a model plane from balsa that I know. In those days all I had was a small Brownie camera and the photo I sent to Model Airplane News was rejected because of the rather poor quality. They did ask me to send a better photo... That Big Ass Rat that John O is building is from Cleveland plans !!!!!

Flapping wings covered in feathers are probably more interesting.
David Duckett, Image # 711214 Mar 08 12:52

Patches has never shown any interest in wings.
David Duckett, Image # 711114 Mar 08 12:48

Seems to fit fine without any glue....
