Thanks everyone for the help. Got a ways to go before paint and I still haven't picked out which bird to model. |

Rust-Oleum would be my choice and they make several spray aluminum paints. |

Got a airbrush Don? I used plain ol' Rustoleum aluminum from the quart can on my OL-8. Didn't have to thin it much. I also tinted it with blue and brown for effect. I applied a matt varnish (Micro-Scale matt) to better simulate some doped fabric. My .02 worth. |

it looks terrific, Don. Thos wing scoops and nacelles turned out really well. I used Tamiya Gloss Aluminum TS-17 on the Widgeon and it looks pretty good and fairly metallic. You might want to test a couple of options on some finished wood to see what you like best. Everyone seems to have a different eye when it comes to this sorta thing, no? |

Humbrol enamel. Polished aluminium, it can be polished after painting :) |

Not sure of he color yet, but if it's aluminum - what paint should I use? Gone through lots of builds, but haven't found an answer. Suggestions? |

All of a sudden it takes up a lot of space. Broke both wing spar extensions twice. Second time they both ended up in the fuselage. Sounds ike |
