SW...Even with just the wing roots and fuse I have trouble fitting thru doors, as I fly it around the house making radial engine noises to annoy the wife. With the wings, such flights will be almost impossible unless I get the wings vertical!

Lower exhaust stacks installed.

You'd better get started on that extension to your house before you finish that thing, otherwise, you'll have to knock out a wall to get it out.:-)

Can I have a ride in it when you're done?

Rat wings first fitting. Wooden dowels built into the wings extend into the wing root. Wht grey? I had a half can about. Tomorrow whit primer. Yard stick should give you all a size.

In my humble opinion Micro Mark clear or white decal paper is the BEST! I did not use it on the Tin Goose and I had difficulty.

Those look beautious. Am going to have to visit the Micro-Mark site. Now my queen will have to get inolved because she's the computer geek. If she can produce websites for people, a pair of red DK333 should be a cakewalk.

That was nice of them to make the decal PDFs free for download. Looks like Micro-Mark decal sheets in the background, I have some of the clear variety on the way so I can finally finish up the F-15.

As always John, the finished product is a stroke of genius.

Well Gumby looks pretty happy with his newly upholstered cockpit. His aircraft builder is sure good to him.

coat, that is, finished the scoops!
John M Oshust, Image # 734024 Mar 08 19:25

The interior of the doors were lined in padded leather, so was the large head rest, as was the front of the pit over the inst. panel. Gumby will never be a Boris, but he is all that I have now!
John M Oshust, Image # 733924 Mar 08 19:22

Gumby got a coay of paint on the wind screen frame, finishe the scoops over the instrument panel, and finished the doors. Priming wings tomorrow.

The polymorphous mass of clay is through for the day. Two doors paded, painted and lined.

Been making hinges since the first build ....the Camel!
Barnstormer, Comment for image # 733724 Mar 08 18:20
Thats just too cool, and now you are building your own micro hinges.

As with many things, the second side was easy and better in quality. Waiting for the paint to dry!
