Sorry to be late in commenting. We spent several days at lake home w/no computer. This is gorgeous. The paint, details, engineering and overall craftsmanship is master modeling at its best!! I know there will be more pics but I just had to comment on this lovely piece of work!

I like the belly bomb. Was this a dive bomber or fighter?

The piclens site states my machine has the program in working order but the pictures on VA appear as they always have.

James...I re-booted my machine but nothing new happens. Like SteveM I guess I will live W/O it!

The ventral surface is completed. I await nice weather for final pictures. James I guess the program did not work properly as I do not see what you mentioned!

John. If everything was installed OK, you should see a little 'play button' appear over the image of your Rat to the left. Click on that, and then you can scroll around all the recent pictures on a nice 3D wall.

CD...Thanks. I just visited and downloaded the two free Rats at the Polish card plane site. Figures...the plans and illustrations would have been of great help building the Rat. I am aware of them when the build is over. Sorry about the snow.

The Rat has painted ailerons....only on the top. Another day of you all putting up with my photos...then the final presentation. Commander Nicholas Karova (Cow in English) is in transit to accept his new ride.

Decal sheets from Micromark I have found to be the best. Just light regulare decals. They slide easy. On the rat the decals on the lower wing were fine, color wise. Due to the camo on the upper wing I painted over them to hide the camo. I then painted the stars on the lower wing to match. Had the Rat been a solid color, the original decals would have been fine. I use an Epson printer. Brother laser for B+W.

Guys... how are your results with these ink jet decals? I tried a kit from Testors, and the results were pretty poor, mostly in trying to get the decal off and usable in one piece.
John M Oshust, Image # 757305 Apr 08 13:59

I guess she only needs her ailerons!

Egg spinner and prop finished and glued in place....BTW, it spins!
