My facsimile of a B model's cockpit. |

Belts are doubled masking tape, buckles made from sheet styrene, aluminum fasteners. |

I gotta take a break. Spending way too much time on cockpit. |

You'll carve it perfectly, Poppy. You've got magic hands. Like DD |

Steve M will be doing the Malcom hood for me, that is if I can properly carve one. |

Dials are photos from actual plane reduced to fit on copier, used Avery peel and stick label paper, sandwiched between 2 sheets of .020 styrene. Center console .040 styrene w/painted switches. I am planning to use color scheme of 361st FG Tom Christian's "LOU III". He married a girl from my home town of Sulphur Springs, Texas, Miss Mary Lou Ashcroft. His "LOU IV" D model has been modelled extensively, but I have never seen his B model done. |

I love the control panel here Poppy. How did you produce the dials? |

Beautiful finish Poppy. This is looking brilliant, have you decided on a colourscheme? I think Don Gentile's "Shangrila" (I hope I spelt that correctly) was a B model, nice markings too. |

Very nicely done. It would seem that your idea of wing formers 1/16" below top of LE works superbly when in the right hands. |

Just beautiful! |

Super Duper....I think I will use a belt sander and a wheel barrow full of filler to get my my/our Corsair to look this beautious! |
