The only issue I can see from the pictures is the transition from the bubble to the flatter front area. The plastic might not fully suck down into it, resulting in a smoother than intended transition between the two areas. |

Poppy, with the undercuts from the Malcolm hood, will there be any problem releasing the vac plastic from the mold? |

Hey Ed, I used a light weight spackle from my local home center on my P-40, it worked well, I think it may have taken alittle more priming and sanding to get the smooth finish but I think over all the results were good. You just have to find what works for you. |

I used to use talc powder in dope as a filler. |

Ed...I am using Elmer's wood fill on the Corsair....works like micro fill but is cheaper! |

Poppy, since Micro Fill isn't available do you have a suggestion for a substitute. Or anyone else that might be looking for the product. Thanks |

Looks sharp Poppy. And looks very solid as well. One reason I like using the aluminum and brass tubing. |

Scale LG. If interested, parts list: notched 1/8" dowel & 1/8" balsa, 3/32 & 1/8" OD alum. tube, 3/16" OD plastic tube. |
