poppy.....This prop was well worth the extra expense and work Two things stand out on the Corsair....the wings and a large prop. Compared to the smaller 3 bladed prop, this one really sets the plane off...plus if was fun making it!!! |

The huge diameter prop was why Vought designed the inverted gull wings to keep the gear legs from being so long. The Big Hog now has it's own huge prop. Beautiful! |

The old and the new. I could have purchased a Guillows series 2000 kit for what the prop collection cost in materials. |

I hope you all agree that this is "Much More Better!" than the tribladed 16 incher. But the smaller prop did not take 8 hours to fabricate! |

Needs filler sanding and TLC but I can live with this hub and prop. |

Better put a motor on it so you can use it as a ceiling fan too. |

Thanks James. I new when I completed the 3 bladed prop that it was not for Big Bird. I thought a great deal and came up with a better alternative. |

The components from the plumbing department seem to fit. The hub ring needs to be shortned. |

I shaped the blades this AM no they need smoothing. |
