I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

We also had snow here in North Dakota today. Melted off pretty fast.

Construction begins by making the keels from 1/16" stringers laminated and glued together.

This one has been on Davis-Monthan for many years, in fact it was there when I first came to Tucson in 1974. I was out there buying victuals today so I got some pics for reference.

Wow - that's about half of the best price that I've seen! What's your source?

It would appear quite a few #11 blades are on hand already.

As usual, the wood is great and on this one the formers are full pieces and do not need to be cut on the inside curve unless one cares to make it light. NOT! The canopy is superb having raised outlines and exact scale shape. I did get two more from Dave since this one is slightly flawed and one of the ones he sent had a blemish. That means I have one that's just right. ;-) Dielsengineeringinc.com is his website and he's currently having a 30% off sale so I've ordered three more kits. There's also a Yahoo Diels builders site where the main interest seems to be in building them to fly which makes sense since they're engineered to fly and apparently do so quite well. I like the scale looks and the fact that all of them are the same 1/24 scale which is nice because the skies are getting a bit crowded in the house.
