| getting up close to one of these is an eye opener. At Nellis AFB in 2008 or so they had a clean one on the ramp..meaning no ordinance or external tanks were slung but also it looked like it had literally just been scrubbed and polished. It was really sleek with those long legs and surprisingly thin wings - area rule fuselage and so on...real airplane porn - too pretty to be a mud mover but effective as hell at it. |

All these gaps and holes will be filled with glue, the excess wiped away, and then sanded. THe sawdust mixes with the glue and fills the hole. Filler is next. |
