I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Ready for flight, again.

The wing center section was strenghtened.

The damage gave us another opportunity to modify the wing pylon. It was shortened in height and a platform and pegs were added to allow for a removeable wing.

Late in 2008, an accidental collision gave us this result.

Having some fun with the photo editing tool and expressing my opinion about swing control flight;o)

One of our favorite early flight pix.

It flew well from the first test flights.

Over a year later we revisited the Cloud Buster to see how it would go as a 'swinger'. We removed the rubber and prop and stuff. Put some doublers on the pylon to extend the nose and provide a place to put clay for balance, and added landing gear. 10-16-08

Assembled and ready for flight - 06-07-07. Our first modifications to the Cloud Buster were to make a small box on the bottom of the wing pylon so that the motor stick could be adjusted for balancing the airplane. Also the landing gear was omitted. First flights were promising but indicated that we would need more room for flying than our backyard could afford. So we put the model aside for awhile and concentrated on smaller FF models.

Ready for cover and final assembly.

Building the wings and tail surfaces. The diecut wood for the ribs was very stiff. Not too good for rubber power FF, but real good for a 'swinger'.

The price label on the kit box. They were on sale and needless to say, I bought two of them. Today the list price for the Gold Wing alone is $11.99 And they call this progress?????

The Cloud Buster came in this Comet 4-in-1 kit containing these aircraft: Gold Wing glider, Cadet, Fly Boy, and the Cloud Buster. We first built the Cadet and it proved to be a good backyard flyer.
