I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Beautiful!

Mind you my school reports used to say that - so nothing changed then.

Another distraction. Just had this 1963 Lambretta TV175 Series 3 restored.

Other side. Could have done better.....

Slowly getting things done. Too many distractions - weather here in UK fairly good so mainly being outside. Not a very good engine with expansion tank.

You can edit the second comment but not the first. Been that way for years.

John - glad you understood what I said. The edit button does not seem to work for correcting badly written sentences. When initially writing something on the uploading section you cannot check what has been put down unlike on this comment section. Maybe James can sort that out..... Anyway glad you like the idea - the paper certainly kept it all together as the wood split with the bending.

I really like the paper backing idea. Lately I have completely covered this area with wood. Then I cut the opening with a Dremel saw and shaped the opening with a Dremel drum sander.

Canopy. Made from 3/32 balsa wood, lined underneath with paper so when curved the wood splitting would still remain intact. Then filled, sanded and hardened. Also the paper protects the cockpit until as such time the paper can be cut open. Anyway that the plan :)

Side fixing. Used brass parts from ship build.

Seatbelts fitted. Used masking tape (same as everyone else)

Any compliments I add are superfluous to what others have already said. But, really awesome work.

There's an old Mexican proverb, at least told to me by an old Mexican, that goes: When looking at pretty women, always keep your eyes open on a windy day.

That's very kind of you, meku especially from you as your craftsmanship is on another level to most of us mere mortals. Are you building anything at the moment but then again I probably not paying enough attention as David D showed me :)

Thank you very much for looking in and your nice comments. I realise I have yet to do seat belts.

I would leave it the way it is. It's perfect :)
