I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Spirit level added - or whatever it is called to keep the pilot level headed...Also some wiring from gun triggers and accelerator. Is there anything else I should put in - don't say pilot. (don't think I can make one )

One air pump and another dial. Still not keen on doing cockpits - this has certainly tried my patience and my skill

Super. If my memory is correct the MBCS is under the seat!

WOW!! Detail is just enough. Crisp and clean, will really make this beauty an eye popper!

VERY NICE INDEED!! Not clumsy at all and very well rendered. My opinion of plastic kits is that they OVER DO the detail stuff. Many times less is more. GREAT WORK!

Thanks David. Not keen on doing cockpit detail - can tend to look clumsy - at least when I do it - they are complicated with a lot going on ( plastic kits do them justice) and at this scale it is very tricky.....anyway thought I'd have a go.

So nice, and clean!!

Trial fit. The 'wooden ' handle of the magneto starter is a blob of super glue. Some dials and a Quadrant lever. There is a something or other cut off switch - guess it must be under the seat :)

Control column with rudder bar. Straps made from cable ties and paper painted brown wrapped around bar to simulate leather binding.

Control column with accelerator lever and gun triggers

some scrap balsa wood vainly attempting to look like a leather seat

If my memory serves me correctly, I think I found original drawings of that engine somewhere. I know I found a Benz engine diagram.
Dfell, Comment for image # 3136904 Apr 14 13:48
John - managed in the end to see some photos of an engine for an Albatros. - curtesy of Photobucket - replica build in New Zealand so I may have a go to make something resembling an engine :)

Love it. Fuselage shape before it's time. Have you decided upon an engine?
