I believe poppy is correct. What is on my Rat is also not a cannon but a starting lug. When this model was inspected by a gent who flew a Rat, he was impressed that I included the starting lug.

Man, I love these. My Grandmother from my Fathers side (Russian Orthodox) used to make these when we celebratet their Easter. Had one for decades but, it finally crumbled.

Thanks.... but the "BIG BIRD" Corsair, is from a kit....but I will scratch her a great deal. So far this build is like a mini vacation...parts...directions...what could be more easy!
