Remember when cameras used film? About 35 yrs past photography was my thing. Still have the cameras and darkroom to prove it. I dealt with mostly B+W but I did do some color. I wish I could find the negative of this print now. I can still remember the smell of the dust and smoke. |

Playing with the "can of peas" today. Yesterday it was silver and I did not like it. Too much silver with all of the Al. Thought about yellow. I will bend history a tad and go with black. |

I believe it's important that all the colors in the cockpit interiors be credible. On military aircraft, except Russian made ones, the instrument panel is generally a muted neutral color such as grey. Bright colors are usually avoided since they cause glare. It is, after all, the cockpit of a fighter plane, not a concept car from Japan. |

Another dtail I would have missed if it were not for poppy...ID lights. The rudder in the following photos still needs the white. Two days for red and blue, white tomorrow after the paint sets. |

When covering the elevators I follow poppy's method of simulating the fabric covered elevators. None of my extensive refence photos show this relief but I like the effect. |
