Moos, I will be looking forward to it. Great job on the Mossie! Can't wait to see it finished. |

6 1/2 months later, my son won me over. Next up on the Moostang "to-build" list. Got to admit, the kid has good taste. Thanks for opening his eyes to a beautiful model Poppy. |

Poppy, how do you paint your models? Do you use an airbrush, or spray cans? They look so neatly done. |

Poppy, as of today, this pic of the F6F will be on the Yahoo GMB homepage for a few weeks. Hope your GB surgery went OK, and that you will be back to normal soon. Take care,

plasticbuddha....Playing with some Bondo spot putty. Works pretty well. My finger is the best applicator! Right now the Mig looks like deficant. Waiting for it to dry and tomorrow I will clean it up. "Tanks!" |

John, another source for spot putty and primer is a good auto parts store. DupliColor makes a good filler/primer (aerosol can). I also use automotive spot putty. |

But they do not seem to have wood models. By the way, a little H20 mixed with Micro ballons makes spreading easier and also makes it go further. Doesn't take much however. |

Go to www.squadronproducts.com . They have a product called Green Putty, $2.98 a tube, that will probably be just what you need. Squadron models site has just about anything from anywhere that you need for modelling. |

poppy...is there anything like "bondo" for cars. A putty like material that hardens, then can be shaped by filing or sanding. |

Can you spell diorama? I can only shake my head in wonder. My eight year old son exclaimed "Cool, that's what's on my Intrepid with the Corsairs, can you make that plane next daddy"? Thanks a lot Poppy. |

Can't blame you, poppy. I'm sure we all enjoy looking at this masterpiece! Hard to believe that this started out as nothing more than a bunch of balsa wood in a cardboard box...(shakes head in disbelief). |
