Probably something to do with the flash I guess Poppy. It really looks stunning. The detail on the underside, the engine, panel lines... |

Beautiful work - as usual. |

Blue is kit insignia. Except in photograph, the blue almost blends in with the dark sea blue. I do not know why it shows a lighter shade in pic. Same thing occured in Corsair pic. |

Poppy, it looks almost too good, I think you might be showing us pictures of the real thing! tell me though, is the blue of the fuselage star and bar correct? should it be a darker blue? |

Now, now poppy, not only an ace but somewhere in there I believe "one hell of a craftsman" applies also. Beautiful. Just beauteeful. |

No engineering. But I have drawn a lot of building plans. 0perated businesses for 35 yrs. for a privately owned family corp. We sold out and I was able to retired at 55. |

Looks awesome. Perhaps a little civil engineering in your background. Reason I say that, I studied Civil Engineering in college but didn't want to stay until I got my stamp. (Become a Prof. Engr.) I'd rather build it than design it!!!! General Carp. Foreman for 24 years this Oct. Surprised though that a little stick and tissue model poses so many problems. |

The lady has some ID now. Fuselage panel lines. |
poppy, Image # 3844 | 04 Aug 07 15:24 |
Panel lines do not show up well on dark blue in pic, but trust me, they are all there. |

Good to see the man behind the models! Good idea Chris. |

Some of the plastic panels such as nose piece and supercharger covers on wings are recessed by Guillows. It is the only model so far that has had these recesses. |
