I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Next step is to carve the "cowling fairing blisters" (above the exhaust stacks) and the "carburetor air intake" (bottom front) from balsa blocks

Thanks! I'm open to all suggestions at this point relative to colors. I've pics of it in green, gray, and light gray and there's a stunning blue scheme for the navy version but I haven't really researched it yet. It's not the normal Spitfire so I want really good colors.

Your coverings are all so perfect. I like the extra stringers and effect it gives. Think I will try this on next build. Have you decided on color scheme? I have a pic of one at Oshkosh that looks great.

Thank YOU, Professor Duckett. And ditto re: James; this site is what it is all about.

Thanks Jack. We all learn a lot from these youngsters. And many thanks to James for hosting the site, as well.

A belated Happy Birthday, David. I can say I've learned a lot from a young whippersnapper. (you) I'll be 80 in October. I'm still a klutz but I am improving at a faster rate than if I didn't have your help.Jack G

Adding 3/32" stock to the two 1/16" laminations which is the leading edge. 3/32" = 2.4 mm, 1/16" = 1.5mm.

Hi Leo. The stringers are 3/32". I would love to see your country!
