I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

The Yanks are working on the British aircraft, the Brits are working on the German aircraft. Looks great David. Looks like you got the canopy to fit well.

Did yee make the spinner or was it in the kit? I am thinking spinner fabrication for my Mig. My reserach has informed me that the Mig-3 and the Spitfire share a similar shape, this seems so.

These required about three hours to make and install. It's now time for her to get some proper clothes.

These are made from 1/4" wood supplied. Excellent quality makes it easier to carve.

Looks great, as usual. Spit fillets are not an easy thing to do. Usually calls for an extra beer when finished!! Cowlings for the Griffon will really set this kit apart.

The results are well worth it. Now I can understand why my Lib is taking so long. Twelve hours... that's about what I can maybe sneak in, over two weeks. But those are "Daddy's-time" hours and very special and I wouldn't change it for the world.. Thanks for the timetable.

Geez... I love the spitfire. You definitely did a great job again. You've got a 22 version from the shape of the canopy. I found in one of my many military aircraft books a photo of a Royal Navy version. It was almost white with a top of fuselage and partial stabe in charcoal grey. Victory or "D-Day" stripes were just in front of stabilizer on the fuselage, and the roundels literally jump out at you.

Some minor covering of seams and a couple of more coats of clear dope and it will be ready to go to the paint shop.
