It looked amazing, and I'm sure you can repair that wing. Looking forwards to seeing some flying shots! |

This is what these kits are designed for. If you don't want to crash, then don't fly. It's not IF but WHEN they look like this. No guts, no glory. That's why mine are all hanger queens. No guts left in me. |

OH!! NO!!! wings what a shame. What happened? But-------it makes a beautiful wreck! At least, it's fixable. and it'll be a better bird for it. |

It all part of the fun. My next plane is display(eindecker)then the next to fly (Monocoupe 90a), then display (albatros) etc etc |

Another good reason why not to fly artwork. My deepest sympathy. |

Testors makes a decal set that you just brush on, it helps the decal conform better. I have had good luck with Krylon matte finish acrylic coating over the top. Remember though, it will add weight to the plane. Check your PMs at the Guillows model builders forum. |

I think you will find that decals will always adhere much better to a smooth i.e. gloss or satin surface than the relatively rough one of a matt finish. So, yes, the gloss lacquer will help. |
