I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

I watched a lot of early Thompson and Bendix Trophy footage - mostly from '29 - '35 along with some of the Schneider Cup - just to try and get a sense of it. When top speed sprang from just over 100kts to well over 300 !! These pilots were born in the horse and buggy era, milk was delivered literally by horse drawn wagons.

I love it! How do you plan to do the fuselage to wing fillet ?

I can't believe how fast you build. This looks like you are on the way to another museum piece. JFB

I'm a big fan of Dumas kits and this one is typical. I doubt I'm the only one who fantasizes about what it would be like to fly one of the planes I'm building but I can't even ride a Ferris wheel. It looks like a model of a toy airplane but, of course, the real thing was anything but a toy.

The infill on the fuselage is complete, all the open areas will be covered with silkspan.. The wing will be fully infilled.

It's coffee so it must be morning.

All stringers were doubled. Infilling the front section is a pain.

This is a Gee Bee Z, Dumas kit #406. A friend sent it over from California...it's so small!!
