Outstanding composition...nice GeeBee too!
Got the motor and canopy together I see.
She looks terrific in the red and white paint |

The canopy was a bit of a challenge as it did not fit properly. Problem was solved with CA and Brute Force. |

Sorry. Hope I didn't offend. I was only curious as to the choice of colors. Beautifully done. |

Beautiful but that is what we have come to expect. Are the registration numbers painted using your transfer method? |

No photos featuring the Wasp but there will be more when it's finished. Yes, Gary, it is a Z model but I have said from the start that it would not be black and yellow. The first time I saw a Gee Bee it was an R model with red and white paint and that's how I like it. Course, it did not have black racing and registration. I do not like the yellow and black scheme and as I have said before see no obligation to paint it that way. I know many of you build models to represent a specific plane flown by a particular pilot but I do not. |

artistic license...plus I have seen a Z in red and white...

Great job! Just curious, isn't this a Gee Bee Model Z? If so, wasn't that supposed to be yellow and black? |
