Left cockpit, need two wires and canopy hinge release.

I would give this a JFB x 10. On a scale of 1 to 10. Y'all do know that Moostang is a Carpenter, don't you? Must be a pretty damned good one to be able to do this on such a small scale as well as big buildings. Beautiful work, here.

Jedi, all pieces are dry fitted first, sidewalls, dash etc...then removed for painting and detailing. Most gauges are photocopies of various kits ( backgroung black and white dials seem to come out truer color this way). Gauge bezels are sterling silver closed jump rings from my wifes' hobby beading tray. Selt belts 3/16" ribbon with 1/64" plywood carved buckles. I can see how one accumulates items for a "magic box".

I love this....Im trying to do this on my P-40 but Im having trouble getting the gauges to look right. Are those decals or what?Did you build it outside the plane first and then put it in?

I think you get the idea. Tomorrow final seat positioning and lap belt make for a 10% discount on insurance.

DD never has enough Coronas!

Okay now, I think you had enough Coronas.

Looks great Moos, Just keeps getting better, I know the paint will really bring this one to life.

Now to get the other side to mirror this one. A couple of 7.9mm guns, some micro-fill and then search for a paint scheme.

Moos...a proper prop and spinner nice work!

Keen eye. A VDM Hamilton variable pitch prop. Not glued yet as final shaping to be done. While I don't have a lot of time to build, I do have the time to read and research. Fab DR-1 you got there.
David Duckett, Comment for image # 502611 Nov 07 17:46
Knowing Moostang, I would say yes.
Barnstormer, Comment for image # 502611 Nov 07 17:31
Moos, that spinner and prop look great. Is that a variable pitch prop?
moostang51, Image # 502611 Nov 07 17:12

Spinner needs to be shortened 1/8" and flattened tip drilled out. Believe it to be a BF109-3.
