Poly span so easy even I can apply it!

Those extra wing shaper thingies do make it look nice!

John...your work is just amazing. Neat, clean and squared.

do you use tissue, silkspan, or monokote on your models, john?

Solid foil tips. Make the covering smoother and wrinkle free. Greater durability also.

The work does not look like much but it took several hours to fabricate the ailerons and install solid wing tips. Also shaped the LE a tad.

This eventually goes up here.

During the summer hiatus from aero plane construction, I have forgotten how enjoyable this hobby can be.

Whether you like your ribs long or short, this air foil has them all. Now the air foil structure is very close to the original.

I see that original comments still cannot be edited.....each day's WORK!

I shall add extra wing shaper thingies to duplicate the original.

Ah the aroma of CA adhesive, the crust of glue on my digits, Autumn at its finest. I started framing the upper air foil today. When complete it will not be as per kit plan. I am adding extras to closly mimic the original wing.

We lost power for 3 days and had a sump pump issue. Fortunately, I purchased a generator last year. 1600 homes were flooded many with water into the first floor.

I am glad Irene did not create a total disaster for you.

Glad to hear you're ok, and your house too, John. Hope you didn't lose too much from the water.

Organized confusion at its finest!

65 hours of toil to clean the basement after Irene. We got off easy as many here in Cranford lost their homes.
