She went to the market and returned to the barkin', Of the warm doggie awaiting his treat. She brought him fried chicken, but not finger lickin', Because of the socks on his feet.

The photo is in the same build thread as this.

Dave the Sorcerer's Apprentice was great but the Hippo's wigged me out. What happened to the picture of the Mossie?

Mother Hubbard was furious, perhaps a bit curious, As to why all the veggies were bad. Well they were a bit old, with maybe some mold. No wonder the doggie is sad.

After eating the salad, he suffered a malady, And barfed it all over the floor. So she summoned the brooms and put on some tunes, And soon it was all out the door.

A friend said "storm". I see North Dakota. It's just doodling:-) but doodles have been known to become large works.

Reminds me of a forest fire at night.

Love that pic David! Charles is the little "golden headed wonder" in our families! Loved by ALL!

Indeed!! There was a time when I could tell what was flying overhead by the distinctive sound each aircraft makes so when I heard this I grabbed the camera and went to see "what was the matter". They were haulin' ass, too.

Funny sound made you look up, didn't it?

Many thanks. Don: I have no idea what will be painted on them. I like to have them on hand when the urge to paint hits and I have three other large ones in the bedroom. These are all being done with the idea that they will be staying here and not given away. Al: It is that! The nice thing about paintings is that they change all the time so the view does, as well. I have always tried to "Paint pretty" so colors are more important that form to me. Ray: I've been painting on canvas for fifty years but abstractions are difficult for me still. I think the years of experience have made me much more confident to approach a large canvas with absolutely no intention of doing anything precise but by contrast, the three on the left are all very carefully painted. I think if you have any desire at all to paint your background won't get in the way. The relations of colors to each other are purely mathematical and the only thing to worry about is getting carried away with the sheer delight of painting and wind up with mud. Whatever you paint will be unique and if you're untrained, it will probably be abstract. Carpe Diem!

Thank you. He's a regular around here. Big bird!

This really made us laugh! :-)

Super picture there David - one of "our" most liked birds.

One anthropomorphism on the site is enough. Besides, these are real pricks to work with and their work ethic sucks. All they want to do is stand around all the time.

David: I admire your free-forms, very cool. I've think that I've had too many years of technical/engineering brainwashing to be able to wrap my brain around the abstract like you do. Cheers!
