I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

At least you were on the ground and not in the plane when pilot error occurred.

wash out all the electrics with alchohol to get out the sodium... Blow dry and use. Build a new plane...

You might be able to use some of the eletric equipment. I have a Rc car that ended up in sea water after the controller vent out of power. and i drove it the next day. Don`t know about the balsa tho... think everyone here knows what happens when you get vater on balsa. I recently lost all my balsa vhen the snow broke the roof in my garage and melting vater came all over my planes. My last crash was when my radio died, lost a 25 size spitfire, still not ower it..

No, pilot stupidity claimed it, John, nothing else!

Tragic ! but you are handling it very well. Normally I can't communicate effectively for weeks !

My condolences, I guess the "if" became the "when"! Bermuda triangle claims another.

Here is the carnage. Totally my fault, I was fiddling to start my flight timer when I lost situational awareness (it was quite high and far away), and it went into the sea upside down. I swam out and got it back, but sea-water has probably finished it all off... These things happen, I re-learned a lesson to pay more attention, I was getting too complacent.

Nooooo, I feel like I've lost a child! James I think yours was the second pre-production Tyro. I've still got number one though.

Let us all snap a piece of Balsa in homage of our poor departed photo friend "Tyros Nikonicus" (was it a Nikon?).... SNAP!!!.... Whoops. Bass.

All flying planes have an expiration date, you just never expect it until it happens. It's the nature of the beast.

NO!!!!
jgood, Image # 1654623 Feb 10 02:55

Advective fog this morning on South Beach. Unfortunately, probably the last picture ever from this aircraft / camera. :( Story later...

While this needs nothing, I can see a nice, cold Corona!! Beautiful shots! From here it looks like an alien planet.

Left a bit, then straight for a long way! Notice the little Cessna 172 up there too?
