I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Hi Wingspanner, great work you have done here. I'm building a similar plane, and have a question that regards the front part of the plane. Do you remember what piece of balsa you are using for, as described on the plan; "2 laminations of 6 mm balsa for each side"? And how? Kind regards

Anyone know of any good reference books for the MkI or MkII spitfire with plenty of colour schemes and illustrations. As I have a 41" Spifire with retracts to build next...

Hello wingspanner and Happy Holidays too all! Here's a page at a very nice site called RUSJET (If you have'nt seen this site, take a peek). Russian though, but they have a translator that works on all aircraft names... EXCEPT the Russian ones! This doesn't have the exact color scheme you're looking for, but there are 10 pages of nice detail drawings to "Spruce-up" the little details. Download the zip file. http://www.airwar.ru/other/draw/i16.html It's safe, I've downloaded many for my own little collection. Phil

I have a rat book with many color profiles, but it is at the cabin. I will be there after Xmas. I shall retrieve it and send color schemes to you.

Who said fuel was expensive?

Even the red arrows made an appearance. £11000 per plane.

Thanks a lot! In the meantime I found out that there are bubbletop P-47's which are not factory silver ... I just took a look at the front cover of my reference book ... :-)
