I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Superb work..........I as well, get satisfation of a hard job done well. I have loads of practice to go though before I attain such quality.

I think I am the unit that asked for a clearer radial photo. Sweet. My uncle John, my namesake flew and died in one of these. I still have all of his "top secret" flight manuals.

If you choose to leave the rest of it gray, it's still HOT!

Most glass installed. Didn't like the application of Guillow's supplied cardboard stock, so mini windows are full glass. Dope and tissue then remove the liquid mask. Should be much flatter. Next project, just paint the windows black. Live and learn.

Just in case I continue with the Green Dragon motif (courtesy of Pinewood Derby Detailing of the Boy Scouts of America.

Poppy this one's for you. A little clearer photo. Missing heavy red oil feed, I believe. It will be installed though. Details, details, details...

Time well spent, look at the results, perfect! Patience and time I believe, is the key to an exceptional model.

have gotten the recessive gene during fertilization some 50+ years ago. The green needs a little more yellow added, dried much darker than I thought it would.

Looking good! Keep at it.

My subject for the build. The "Green Dragon". Inner and outer rudder markings. The letter will duplicated for stenciling later..... I think. The coloring is darker than actual. If I could only take pictures like my father. He worked for a pro but I must

A great artist/model builder once told me " Painting is the hardest" (DDuckett 2007). Three hours to mask, paint and locate proper font of "C" online. Only a sample though. Lots of work ahead if I choose to do it.

Sweet job, please retake the engine photo so I can perise the details!

Motors and nacelles installed. Thought about two wires to each cylinder X 14 X four motors. Yeah right, stopped after 3 cylinders. Tamiya Rust, German Grey, Gun Metal and Flat Black colors will have to do.

Light grey primer applied. Had a little issue with sagging in the left wing, so I recoated with almost pure dope. Sagging gone but want to see if it affects the primer. If not, surgery is scheduled for partial tissue removal.

Nice work. I always love to see cockpit details in models.

Thanks for the Lego idea. I confiscated my son's pieces for future reference.
moostang51, Comment for image # 348320 Jul 07 15:05
Images are a cut up scan of the Guillow's supplied cockpit. Some are dupes. Steering wheels are courtesy my sons' legos. Seats carved and the throttle throws are pin heads glued on old plastic model sprues.
Jedi, Comment for image # 348320 Jul 07 14:49
Where do get the images for this. Do you print them and then glue them in? Same thing for the steering wheels?
