This is not as large as the Guillow kit and from what I can see not nearly as complicated. Corsairs are great fun. Dumas kits are made here in Tucson so I'll be happy to go get whatever you want and send it to you. This is a very nice looking build.

Series 1000 I meant.

I like the look of this kit very much, and wish it was readily available over here. The Corsair has long been one of my favourite planes and I'd definitely like to build one, although I don't think I'm quite ready for Guillow's series 100 giant scale kit yet!

Frame assembled and rough sanded. Will take a break while I decide if I want to build to fly or for display.

Wing sections assembled and ready for sanding. Balsa strips on leading edge are only 6.5 lb/ft.cu, I'm thinking this could be a good candidate for flight.

They are a lot easier to cut out, which is nice. But what I really like is how the piece is the correct size. So many times with my BF-109 the precut part was the wrong shape or size. Are the other Guillow's kits better than the 500 series?

I like those laser cut parts.

You sure want to follow the revised instructions, the old ones have several confusing errors (eg. wrong part number). Though the revision its self suffers from copy & paste errors and typos.

Fuselage and wing center per plan. Not sure yet if I will build to fly or add extra stringers for display.

Keel and formers. Note the revised instructions dated 2007.

This is a laser cut kit from Dumas. The kit seems to be fairly good quality.
