While in the hills the past 5 days I cut and split 2 chords of hardwood. I made prop blanks of cherry, oak, and ash. The Spad will get cherry with copper leading edges. If you ever need a hardwood blank just let me know. |

Naturally if you name anything "Poppy" it implies the utmost quality and demands a premium price. ;-) |

Steve...Your slant on color names makes a great deal of sense. These small jars are about $3.50. They are larger than model paint jars like Tamiya or Testor. Used Ben Moore on the Rat. |

'cause you can't release a new white paint that is exactly the same color as your old white paint and charge twice as much for it unless it is super. |

The shop is clean and organized. The lower wing plan in place. After a brief hiatus at the cabin, painting and construction shall resume. |

Met my goal. THe colors Ben Moore "Blueberry", "poppy", and "super white"! Nice paint, inexpensive, covers well. What ever happen to red, white, and blue??? |

The H rest is "pert near" the real thing. All the pit needs now is a windscreen and combing. |

Barney.... Thanks....there are more colorful and intricate color schemes for Spads. This is evovling into my interpretation. Must keep up with your French bird. |
