I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Most of my kits ready to ship to Germany in the future via container with my heavy machinery.

Yes, this is the forerunner to the Quickly. It was manufactured from 1936 to 1953. 98cc two stroke 2 speed. 26" wheels.

Is that machine the forerunner of the "Quickly"? Can't be it's too much like a motorcycle. Super "shop".....

Now that's a clean workroom! Especially for working on that beautiful Moped. Enjoy your vacation.

What an impressive looking wing! You may not be able to take this to Denmark (this time), but it is going to be one huge conversation piece at every flying location you take it to!

My new work space in Germany. Up three flights of stairs and a fairly narrow Spiral staircase. I have my original "Holiday" model here as well as others that I posted here at VA so the Holiday will come to Denmark for my vacation. Well traveled model!! That's my 1949 NSU Quick Moped I'm restoring. Just replaced all the seals and bearings in the engine and it's ready to reassemble. Then disassemble to get back downstairs!!

Took longer than I had planned but the wings are nearly complete. As usual I went overboard with the joinery. I think I'll cover with my favorite "Coverlight" polyester tissue. It's similar to "Polyspan" but...lighter. Plus its already sealed and colored. I like the tissue look. Although I had planned to bring this on my Denmark trip (starting this Friday :o ), my digression into "you can never have too many ribs" and"Gussetland" has made this quite impossible.

Thank you for the compliments but...do not sell yourselves short please.

This work is great! I and, maybe some others in our band, would love to be at the same level - excellent!

compared to the furniture I build, this is a Stradivarius..

Added a carbon fiber square tube to help transfer some of the torsional load and support the soon to be installed control pin (or tube, haven't decided yet) and as well as beef up the structure a bit for the "not so graceful" end of flights! ;)

The "Pivot" tube is 5mm I.D. brass. The joiner is Carbon Fiber. Hard balsa saddles the brass tube and the ends are wrapped with Kevlar tow. Another pin will be added about 2.5 inches behind the pivot for control.

That is a beautiful design and construction. It's almost a shame to cover it.

The TE is three 1mm (.040") square basswood I found at a German Crafts store with some .012" thick Carbon strip I already had.
